We aimed for a cost-effective solution when it came to Levels 18 and 19, re-using materials where possible and assisting with design suggestions to keep within budget. On Level 22, there were no materials available for re-use, so this floor was fitted completely new and bespoke. Curved walls and glazing, alongside Crittal banding and stylish reeded film allowed us to achieve a contemporary modern feel. In combination with classic timber door frames and laminate timber doors, painted bulkheads in contrast to the ceiling, the offices also had a notable uniqueness. Although Soundboard was used for most of the project, all of our walls consisted of a ‘Slab to under-side of ceiling’ system. To keep to acoustic requirements, we fitted out ceiling voids with RW45, as well as quilt within bulkheads, to keep office and corridor noise sealed and separated.
After completion, the client was satisfied with the space provided and confirmed that it met all requirements needed, whilst still upkeeping the feel of a sophisticated, high-rise space.
